Education will construct a school with capacity for 450 students
The Council of Education of the Meeting of Andalusia will construct in Alhaurín el Grande a new school with capacity for 450 students, according to the Provincial Delegation. The future equipment will be an investment of about six million Euros and will have six units of Infant Education and 12 of Primary Education, with room of multiple uses, library, classroom of resources, gymnasium, dining room and cooks. Information regarding construction wasn’t mentioned but it is anticipated that the City Council was asked on the 11th of May put at its disposal the necessary ground required for the school.
The school requires a parcel of at least 8,100 meters square. On the other hand, el Ente Público Andaluz de Infrastructuras y Servicios Educativos, are already carrying outworks in el colegio Félix Plaza y en el Carmen Arévalo de Villafranco del Guadalhorce.

The City Council has begun the integral reformation of the “Plaza de los Pisos Guardiola”, in Calle Virgen de Gracia. In a later phase modernization works will be in the passage and entrances of Cristo de las Agonías.
The City Council of Alhaurín el Grande has begun the remodeling of the well-known square located between the Calle Virgen de Gracia. and Plaza de los Pisos Guardiola, in the middle of the urban center and in the area of the Feria ground.
The works consists of the modernization of all the facilities and infrastructures. Municipal technicians are studying the possibility of carrying out a new connection to Plaza de los Pisos Guardiola. A local petition may be carried out in a later phase.
The works will completed within 20 days and has a budget of 30.000 Euros, financed entirely by the Council.
